Although Ken lives at the coast, his passion and love for Angus and the ranch keep him involved in the activities at KFC, Cache Creek. Ken is excited to be hosting the first KFC Country bull sale at the ranch in the spring of 2009.
Scott Brady - Purebred Manager
Scott is responsible for the management and operations of the Purebred KFC ranch. He is most at home on his horse working with the cows. Scott's attention these days is focused on the preparations for the KFC Country bull sale on February 28, 2009
Curtis is Scott's right hand man. His quiet demeanour and hard working ethics are the ideal complement to any large cattle ranch. Curtis and Scott work as a team towards the care and attention of the ranch.
KFC is a strong believer in family involvement. The Brady's are no exception, as this young cowgirl and cowboy are living the dream.
Branding... At KFC cattle are branded the old fashioned way in the spring, vaccinated with the Pfizer Gold program and then pushed out on the range till fall.
Moving Cattle... Bull calves are weaned and started on a light roughage ration near the end of August. At this time, the cows and heifer calves are pushed to new pastures for fall grazing.
