6135 is a home raised top performance herd sire that gets the job done right.  6135 ranks in the top 5% for total maternal, the top 8% for BW, the top 9% for WW and Milk and the top 19% for YW EPD.  That is balanced goodness at its best.  His sons have an average BW of 75 Lbs and a average WW of 712.  So the next time some one tells you that EPD’s don’t mean a thing just think of the proof 6135 has shown here.   His dam is one of the very best females on the ranch.  She has proven herself year after year and is now 10 years old, and bred to calve again this spring.  She is a member of that Famous Dixie Erica cow family that produced the OCC Legacy bull. On the top side of 6135 pedigree is one of the most notable maternal sire to ever produce semen,  GDAR RAINMAKER 340. Rainmaker 340 has produced several daughters that have held the record for highest lifetime progeny sales.  Most notably, Sitz Everalda Entense 1137, with over 2 million in progeny production.   The 6135 sons have preformed well against all other genetic lines within our herd.  He achieved a average progeny production ratio of 107 for WW. After he was used last year on the cow herd we found his birth weights to be moderate enough to use on the heifers this year.
